In the 8thth minute of the game Gilberto Munio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RKO AFC's Poulus Farias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Teodosio Urre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Poulus Farias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, RKO AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Tavio came free, but Poulus Farias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, RKO AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Tohias came free, but Poulus Farias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes of play RKO AFC's Romano Gaona was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 18th match minute, RKO AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Gaona to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Munio scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Poulus Farias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Gilberto Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poulus Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Ulises Fanjul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poulus Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Tohias in the 27th minute of play. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Club Atletico Los Andes's Gilberto Munio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute, Gilberto Munio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Poulus Farias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Munio in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Poulus Farias saved RKO AFC from getting behind.

The wind increased when Adalberto Pellegri made the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Munio might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Poulus Farias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Munio ran back to his position shaking his head. Poulus Farias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Munio's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Los Andes's Nereo Tohias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Poulus Farias. That made the score 0-5 after 55 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Munio got free with Poulus Farias in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Tavio in the 60th minute of play forced RKO AFC's goalkeeper Poulus Farias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, RKO AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Ebensperger to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Munio got free with Poulus Farias in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Nereo Tohias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poulus Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gilberto Munio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Tavio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Poulus Farias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Los Andes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Munio in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Poulus Farias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atletico Los Andes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
