With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Monkhouse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Monkhouse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seb Jennings in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hudson Arósio saved Santo Amaro AC from getting behind. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Hermes to make the kick off. Santo Amaro AC's Hudson Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seb Jennings in the 77th minute of play. Tristram Eastwood's late challenge caught a Santo Amaro AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Santo Amaro AC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
