Adriano Perez scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommie Kirkpatrick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gary Gamble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Gaspar hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Rudy Trotter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enio Trigo having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Creekers's Rudy Trotter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enio Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Favoretto came free, but Tommie Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Gary Gamble got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Kip Connelly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Creekers and the Facopo FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Kip Connelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Creekers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Duda Favoretto scored to the left of an out of position Tommie Kirkpatrick, making the score, 2-0. In the 19th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Keene to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Carioca in the 20th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Tommie Kirkpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Trotter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Renteria came free, but Enio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommie Kirkpatrick made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Paulo de Sena in the 25th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, João Paulo de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Facopo FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Trotter to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Fred Renteria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enio Trigo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Creekers's Fred Renteria fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Paulo de Sena to make the kick off. Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Facopo FBPA from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Facopo FBPA getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Aloísio Munhoz hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Fred Renteria made a precise shot to the right of Enio Trigo. Facopo FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 69th minute, Raimundo Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enio Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Gamble in the 72nd minute of play. Tommie Kirkpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Carioca in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Enio Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Renteria. With a little luck, Facopo FBPA's Enio Trigo got control of the ball when Alec Harmon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Facopo FBPA's Adriano Perez made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommie Kirkpatrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flávio Carioca struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tommie Kirkpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Facopo FBPA. When Duda Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Facopo FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Favoretto couldn't finish the play. Flávio Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tommie Kirkpatrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Perez's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Raimundo Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Facopo FBPA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Creekers for a fine match.
