In the 11th minute Ovidio Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endrick Mbappè in the 13th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Romeo Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Lalla's late challenge caught a Master Champion BMX Flat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráusio Pirani got free with Romeo Pedroso in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Cougars FC defense, Almir Braga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Pedroso. The Cougars FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Pedroso should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Betão Arósio got a free kick in the 29th minute. Claudinei Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cougars FC booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cougars FC's Fernando Belarmo tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cléberson Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Luken in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Betão Arósio got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute, Ronaldo Pérez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cougars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Endrick Mbappè to strike the kick off in the second half. Romeo Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrick Mbappè in the 55th minute of the match. Romeo Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Ovidio Luken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cléberson Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cléberson Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Pérez in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Arósio came free, but Romeo Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Pio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gualterio Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match.
