The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tolis Mantouvalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Vilela in the 28th minute of the match. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Vilela in the 30th minute of play. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Conde, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's João Valadão got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Vrasidas Liouras came free, but Nuno Candeias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Vrasidas Liouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Candeias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Toutourouki f.c.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Catarino Vilela fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Giorgos Kazatzidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Candeias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
