After having played for 4 minutes, Luciano Ondino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivos Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Ondino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Benedicto Patrido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivos Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Baldomiro Abilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Nicholas having to make a save. Angelino Seber struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Ramiro Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivos Futbol Club. Benedicto Patrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Nicholas having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Angelino Seber made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Nicholas. Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Angelino Seber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Nicholas having to interfere. Angelino Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ramiro Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Olivos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Robustiano Nel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Vito. Ceferino Dimo's late challenge caught a Olivos Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Dimo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ceferino Dimo hit a great ball. Olivos Futbol Club's Tomas Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Patrido might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Patrido ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico FC's zone, Hermengildo Jusepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Nicholas came out of the goal and Hermengildo Jusepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Abilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ramiro Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Angelino Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivos Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Seber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Ciriaco Vito made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Benedicto Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Seber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roberto Romano came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Olivos Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Romano couldn't finish the play. Baldomiro Abilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ramiro Nicholas made a huge save. Benedicto Patrido might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Patrido ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62 minutes of play, Olivos Futbol Club's Baldomiro Abilio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelino Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ramiro Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Benedicto Patrido fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 74 minutes, Hermengildo Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivos Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Jusepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Olivos Futbol Club's Hermengildo Jusepe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramiro Nicholas. That made the score 0-4 after 78 minutes of play. Ramiro Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrilete Cósmico FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Nicholas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Domingo Selatse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivos Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrilete Cósmico FC the free kick. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico FC booed when Olivos Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes, Rafael Tavio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivos Futbol Club and the Barrilete Cósmico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Rafael Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Benedicto Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivos Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Patrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Ondino got free with Ramiro Nicholas in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico FC from getting a goal against them. Olivos Futbol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
