The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 7th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Loreto to maneuver through the defense. Vrasidas Liouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ramiro Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vrasidas Liouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Gerasimos Kalonis made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Nicholas. Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Toutourouki f.c.'s Leonidas Lithopoulos got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Vrasidas Liouras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vrasidas Liouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The supporters of Toutourouki f.c. booed when Barrilete Cósmico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Vito charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Vito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ciriaco Vito got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Ciriaco Vito made the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Nicholas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vrasidas Liouras went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Amador Loreto got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Vrasidas Liouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vrasidas Liouras in the 60th minute of the match. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 62nd minute of play. The referee ignored Barrilete Cósmico FC's protests and gave Arsenio Heriberto a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Heriberto. 78 minutes into the game, Isidro Gentza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrilete Cósmico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toutourouki f.c. the free kick. In the 78th minute, Isidro Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Toutourouki f.c.'s Vrasidas Liouras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. In the 87th minute, Vrasidas Liouras made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Nicholas. Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Vrasidas Liouras put it in 2-7 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Nicholas. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Toutourouki f.c. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barrilete Cósmico FC.
