Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ciriaco Vito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Ibrahimovic in the 3rd minute of play. If Aristides Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Francesco in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Aristides Francesco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Nicholas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Alex Caniggia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ricardo Caton in the 10 minute of the game. Ramiro Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Francesco in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Ciriaco Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Gentza. Isidro Gentza kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ciriaco Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Aristides Francesco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Nicholas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, Aristides Francesco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ramiro Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Ibrahimovic in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Nuñez was a little too slow when Martín Ibrahimovic got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-3. Flavio Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ibrahimovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Francesco in the 40th minute of the match. Aristides Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Apolo Ixidor hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Aristides Francesco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Nicholas. Barrilete Cósmico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Francesco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Francesco to make the kick off. Flavio Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Ibrahimovic in the 54th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Dimo. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Aristides Francesco put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Nicholas. Emanuel Cisco charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Cisco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Emanuel Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filiberto Ourente was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. Aristides Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Nicholas having to interfere. Flavio Nuñez came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrilete Cósmico FC's Martín Ibrahimovic. But to his dismay, Martín Ibrahimovic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Aristides Francesco scored to the left of an out of position Ramiro Nicholas, making the score, 2-6. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Ramiro Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Ourente in the 87th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Ibrahimovic in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Isidro Gentza got a free kick in the 95th minute. Estudiantes de América's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
