Karl Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Paulista in the 33rd minute of the match. Rafa Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Österberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Paulista in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Paulista came free, but Karl Österberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rafa Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Paulo França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafa Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Paulo França was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Guilherme Mendes got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A sloppy throw-in by Lucas Moura in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TAQUARI FC's Gilmar Paes. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ronaldinho Gaspar hit a great ball. Karl Österberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 87th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Luís Paulo França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TAQUARI FC and the ✪ XV de Umarizal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Luís Paulo França hit a great ball. Rodrigo Nestor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Österberg having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TAQUARI FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ✪ XV de Umarizal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
