To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pogoń Staszów's Waldemar Dulka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökcan Özakan in the 20th minute of play. Waldemar Dulka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusrettin Tuğkan in the 21st minute of play. Waldemar Dulka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zekeriya Ulubay in the 23rd minute of the match. Waldemar Dulka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Balıkçıoğlu in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute Nusrettin Tuğkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dulka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Gniech hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Gökcan Özakan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kültepe Spor Kulübü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Pogoń Staszów booed when Kültepe Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korhan Balıkçıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Siwek to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdulbaki Aktaş had several of the Pogoń Staszów's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Waldemar Dulka as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zachary Majorski charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Zekeriya Ulubay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Waldemar Dulka made a huge save. Rüknettin Demirbaş came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń Staszów's Waldemar Siwek. But to his dismay, Waldemar Siwek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. 94 minutes into the game, Zekeriya Ulubay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Waldemar Dulka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
