Radoslaw Pilsudski's late challenge caught a Leon Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radoslaw Pilsudski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when Pogoń Staszów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Pilsudski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match, Raí Botelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldemar Dulka was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wieslaw Rutkowski hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Waldemar Dulka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soni Féron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Raí Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leon Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pogoń Staszów's Waldemar Dulka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Staszów from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dagoberto Severo hit a great ball. Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ian Queirós 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Severo in the 38th minute of play forced Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Waldemar Dulka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Raí Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Waldemar Dulka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waldemar Dulka was a little too slow when Ian Queirós got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Siwek to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Soni Féron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Soni Féron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Dulka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobiasz Debkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Waldemar Dulka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Soni Féron hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Davi Alexandridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dulka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maicon Freire struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Waldemar Dulka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Sport Club. After some careless play in the Pogoń Staszów defense, Ian Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Dulka. The Pogoń Staszów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Dulka should have stopped the shot. After 74 minutes of play Leon Sport Club's Dagoberto Severo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dagoberto Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Weverton Pras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Pilsudski in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Pogoń Staszów were awarded a corner. Aleksander Gniech went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pogoń Staszów's Aleksander Gniech to fire away a dangerous shot which Weverton Pras despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Soni Féron took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Dulka. Waldemar Dulka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Waldemar Dulka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Paes in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Raí Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leon Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 96th minute, Ian Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Dulka was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Leon Sport Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
