Luís Paulo Leme started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Meira in the 4th minute of play forced COMCHOPP's goalkeeper Samuca Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luís Paulo Leme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Hakim Frémont when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 15 minutes of play, Paulopolis's Murilo Cavalcante made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuca Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fabiano Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the COMCHOPP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Quadros couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Giuseppe Varela hit a great ball. After some careless play in the COMCHOPP defense, Marcel Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Velloso. The COMCHOPP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Velloso should have stopped the shot. A collision led to COMCHOPP getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Christian Meira hit a great ball. Lino Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuca Velloso having to make a save. With his leg Hakim Frémont managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when COMCHOPP's Luís Paulo Leme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuca Velloso. COMCHOPP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 40th match minute, Paulopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Meira to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the COMCHOPP defense, Marcel Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Velloso. The COMCHOPP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Velloso should have stopped the shot. Hakim Frémont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Leme in the 59th minute of the match. COMCHOPP were furious when Kléber Vander was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of COMCHOPP:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paulopolis:s goal. The referee gave Paulopolis a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcel Vieira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of COMCHOPP's Samuca Velloso. 0-5. In the 70th minute of the match Válter Schmidt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakim Frémont skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egídio Fonseca during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Egídio Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Paiva in the 78th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Hakim Frémont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Paulopolis's Pedro Luís Capixaba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 95 minutes into the match, COMCHOPP's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Meira came free, but Samuca Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Germano Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paulopolis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
