Valdemar Quadros came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Predators's Çakır Baycan. But to his dismay, Çakır Baycan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Çakır Baycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Çakır Baycan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdemar Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Çakır Baycan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 73rd minute. In the 79th minute, Predators's Çakır Baycan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdemar Quadros. Valdemar Quadros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Uchenna Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute of the match Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- got a corner. Predators's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cícero Veiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Cícero Veiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Uchenna Panter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 86th minute Milosz Deery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
