When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Edgardo Tauro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sverker Lindgren to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Marcelo Erruki got a free kick in the 5th minute. Sverker Lindgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Tauro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Edgardo Tauro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sverker Lindgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Siro Birjaio took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Samuel Sundberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Siro Birjaio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sverker Lindgren was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anti Sina got free with Sverker Lindgren in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Siro Birjaio put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Erruki in the 27th minute of play. Marcelo Erruki took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sverker Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 34 minutes of play, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Edgardo Tauro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverker Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sverker Lindgren came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Siro Birjaio. But to his dismay, Siro Birjaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 41st minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Edgardo Tauro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Birjaio in the 44th minute of play. Gudhem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Marcelo Erruki scored to the left of an out of position Sverker Lindgren, making the score, 9-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Tauro to strike the kick off in the second half. Sverker Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Erruki in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gudhem defense, Edgardo Tauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Lindgren. The Gudhem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Lindgren should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Anti Sina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. After 60 minutes, Siro Birjaio made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sverker Lindgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siro Birjaio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Sverker Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anti Sina in the 71st minute of the match. Sverker Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. Anti Sina scored 18-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sverker Lindgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE made a substitution. Teodoro Luzea replaced Marcelo Erruki. After a defensive mix-up in Gudhem's zone, Edgardo Tauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Lindgren came out of the goal and Edgardo Tauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anti Sina in the 94th minute of play.
