Björkö BK's Roy Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Tauro in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Marcelo Erruki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roy Mårtensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Edgardo Tauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roy Mårtensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Florin. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE had played much better football throughout.
