In the 4th minute, Cadáveres Voladores's Narciso Pacho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Saga TF's zone, Alfredo Koldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bjørn Mæhlum came out of the goal and Alfredo Koldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Pacho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bjørn Mæhlum came out and tried to block the shot, but Narciso Pacho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Cadáveres Voladores's Arsenio Domiku nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bjørn Mæhlum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Arsenio Domiku sped through Saga TF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bjørn Mæhlum. Cadáveres Voladores's Rolando Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl-Rune Johanson in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Koldo in the 33rd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Bjørn Mæhlum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bjørn Mæhlum made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Arsenio Domiku sent off a good shot on target. Bjørn Mæhlum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Estevez in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Saga TF's Bjørn Mæhlum got control of the ball when Alfredo Koldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl-Rune Johanson in the 46th minute of play. Bjørn Mæhlum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Domiku in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Rolando Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl-Rune Johanson in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Alfredo Koldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Bjørn Mæhlum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes Saga TF got a freekick which was hit by Jan Log. Alfredo Koldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bjørn Mæhlum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Efrain Itzaina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Alfredo Koldo made a precise shot to the right of Bjørn Mæhlum. Saga TF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Bjørn Mæhlum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Efrain Itzaina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Bjørn Mæhlum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Domiku came free, but Bjørn Mæhlum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjetil Devold charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjetil Devold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, one of Saga TF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saga TF.
