The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Pacho got free with Gavino Luke in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Fabricio Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Gimenez hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Narciso Pacho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavino Luke. Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredo Koldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Gavino Luke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Casimiro Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Koldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. When Casimiro Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaviotas FC's protests and gave Casimiro Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cadáveres Voladores booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes, Gaviotas FC's Casimiro Lopez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Rexino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gaviotas FC reached it. After 64 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Elivareo. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Anastasio Arce replaced Sebastian Gimenez. Lino Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, Cadáveres Voladores's Alfredo Koldo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Luke was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cadáveres Voladores booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaviotas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
