Alfredo Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Angelo Carvalhal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cadáveres Voladores's Rolando Rexino. Rolando Rexino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Carvalhal in the 17th minute of play forced Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Rolando Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Angelo Carvalhal hit a great ball. Rolando Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Leitão, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cadáveres Voladores's Rolando Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaka Mellon in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Cadáveres Voladores got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Ulizes. Rolando Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Leitão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cadáveres Voladores's zone, Angelo Carvalhal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Rexino came out of the goal and Angelo Carvalhal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Paião in the 39th minute of play. Arsenio Domiku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Cadáveres Voladores's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Carvalhal came free, but Rolando Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Koldo made a kick off. Angelo Carvalhal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rolando Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Vítor Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delta FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Delta FS's Vítor Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Rexino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 65th minute Angelo Carvalhal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ivan Leitão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Rexino was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Artemio Flor hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cadáveres Voladores's Nereo Gaizko got a free kick in the 74th minute. Andaka Mellon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Koldo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarcísio Leite saved Delta FS from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Cadáveres Voladores's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Carvalhal came free, but Rolando Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Rexino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Carvalhal in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Arí Tepedino got a free kick in the 89th minute. Tarcísio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Pacho in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Cortez in the 94th minute of play forced Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Rolando Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Delta FS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cadáveres Voladores throughout the match.
