After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ildefonso Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaviotas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Erasto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Botello. Baldomiro Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Los Muchachos del 86's Joel Pabla in the 17th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gavino Luke was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gaviotas FC through an amazing save. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Pabla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavino Luke. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 24th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Ramiro Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Oliverios came free, but Ramiro Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Baldomiro Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Gaviotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Oliverios couldn't finish the play. Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Gaviotas FC from getting a goal against them. Santo Blanco struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Gavino Luke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Muchachos del 86. If Ildefonso Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Oliverios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Erasto having to make a save. Baldomiro Oliverios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Erasto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When Ildefonso Ortle came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Gaviotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Ortle couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Pabla to strike the kick off in the second half. Gavino Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomiro Oliverios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ramiro Erasto made a huge save. Baldomiro Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ramiro Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Oliverios charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Oliverios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomiro Oliverios hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Baldomiro Oliverios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 66th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Ramiro Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Oliverios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Ramiro Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Oliverios. Danilo Gaizko charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Gaizko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Danilo Gaizko hit a great ball. Gaviotas FC's Anastasio Arce couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Muchachos del 86. 80 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Oliverios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramiro Erasto. Baldomiro Oliverios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 86 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Ursino notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto. Ramiro Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavino Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Esteve Naelio got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute Joel Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Luke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaviotas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
