Caroll Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Hodneland in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buksvinens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saga TF the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Buksvinens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Vincent Åkerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Caroll Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl-Rune Johanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 39th minute Carl-Rune Johanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caroll Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Jøssang made a great header on Saga TF's corner, it was just that Buksvinens IF's Caroll Mårtensson managed to reach the ball for a save. Jon Bolme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Evert Hansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buksvinens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saga TF the free kick. After 59 played minutes Buksvinens IF got a freekick which was hit by Evert Hansson. After 60 played minutes, Saga TF's Carl Jøssang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caroll Mårtensson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saga TF reached it. In the 61st minute, Vincent Åkerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buksvinens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 67 minutes into the game, Torkel Aakre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saga TF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buksvinens IF the free kick. Torkel Aakre kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ami Ambjörnsson took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joachim Fagerheim. Joachim Fagerheim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 75 minutes into the match, Buksvinens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Carl-Rune Johanson came free, but Caroll Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Buksvinens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Tinglöv to maneuver through the defense. When Reine Forsberg came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Buksvinens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reine Forsberg couldn't finish the play. Buksvinens IF's Caroll Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Ødegården in the 86th minute of play. Reine Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Saga TF's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Buksvinens IF had won, even though Saga TF had held more of the ball.
