Carmelo Cordario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Aureliano Izotz fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Aureliano Izotz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Aureliano Izotz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ulrik Gudmundsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Carmelo Cordario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th minute of the match, Johannes Forssell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carmelo Cordario was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carmelo Cordario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrik Gudmundsson in the 87th minute. The supporters of Sävedalen booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball.
