Facundo Vila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrik Gudmundsson in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, lןןl La Coconeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Montay to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, lןןl La Coconeta's Gerardo Esdras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Ulrik Gudmundsson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sävedalen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulrik Gudmundsson couldn't finish the play. lןןl La Coconeta's Benigno Orlanda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ian Vallengren in the 44 minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The tension between the lןןl La Coconeta and the Sävedalen players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to lןןl La Coconeta getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Esdras in the 88th minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Arne Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
