After taking down the ball on Astillero del Guayas's corner Ulizes Sola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zygmunt Jaktorowo quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes in the game Walery Wejta did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Maksymilian Drozdowski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maksymilian Drozdowski in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Huarte saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Maksymilian Drozdowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maksymilian Drozdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Huarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 33rd minute of play forced KKS Legia Deptaka's goalkeeper Zygmunt Jaktorowo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astillero del Guayas were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after KKS Legia Deptaka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulizes Sola took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marques Martin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zygmunt Jaktorowo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Feliks Sakowicz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Legia Deptaka's zone, Ulizes Sola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zygmunt Jaktorowo came out of the goal and Ulizes Sola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When KKS Legia Deptaka's Maksymilian Drozdowski in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Feliks Sakowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Huarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliks Sakowicz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when KKS Legia Deptaka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Pilitowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldeón Bretal kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Walter Huarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Drozdowski in the 71st minute of play. Ulizes Sola scored 1-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zygmunt Jaktorowo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maksymilian Drozdowski in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 played minutes KKS Legia Deptaka got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Rywin. KKS Legia Deptaka's Zygmunt Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 90th minute of play. If Zarando Eguizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. KKS Legia Deptaka's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
