After taking down the ball on Palermo's corner Julian Birila fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giannis Gounaris quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Klemensas Makauskas came free, but Teofilo Federigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Rafael Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Gounaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Karamba getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Erikas Rasiukas hit a great ball. Teofilo Federigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddi Ramkilde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Giannis Gounaris made a huge save. The supporters of Palermo booed when FC Karamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klemensas Makauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Gounaris was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Patryk Wiater capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patryk Wiater really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Giannis Gounaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Vachon in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Klemensas Makauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Uriel Georgiev kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Klemensas Makauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Federigo was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.
The wind increased when Klemensas Makauskas made the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Federigo came out of the goal and Klemensas Makauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Eguen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Palermo's Teofilo Federigo got control of the ball when Eddi Ramkilde tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Georgiev. Palermo's Teofilo Federigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the game, Oscar Eguen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Karamba the free kick. After 69 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Eguen. In the 71st minute Jacinto Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Gounaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Mino scored 3-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giannis Gounaris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teofilo Federigo was a little too slow when Eddi Ramkilde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klemensas Makauskas got free with Teofilo Federigo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Karamba's Giannis Gounaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Mino in the 81st minute of play. Egidijus Grabauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Federigo having to interfere. Teofilo Federigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddi Ramkilde in the 85th minute of the match. The Palermo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Karamba's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Karamba.
