The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Cugat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mårten Nordström made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Cugat in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mårten Nordström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mårten Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mårten Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Sande in the 25th minute. Oakcroft Thrashers's Mårten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Romelio in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Gizon having to interfere. Dan Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ulf Hjälm got a free kick in the 40th minute. Oakcroft Thrashers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Tobias Romelio scored to the left of an out of position Mårten Nordström, making the score, 2-1. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Stefan Asmundsson hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 69th minute Tobias Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Romelio in the 69th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Mårten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jonathan Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Oakcroft Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Svensson couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Cugat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mårten Nordström was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
