When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jonathan Svensson sped through ReyPoxo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chano Iglesias. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Chano Iglesias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Sakarias Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jonathan Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chano Iglesias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes of play, ReyPoxo's Daniel Barral made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mårten Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Stefan Asmundsson hit a great ball. Chano Iglesias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Svensson in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, ReyPoxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulio Medina to maneuver through the defense. Chano Iglesias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Svensson went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Svensson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Stefan Asmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Jonathan Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Chano Iglesias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 played minutes ReyPoxo got a freekick which was hit by Piorno Acedo. Jonathan Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chano Iglesias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingvar Lagerberg got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Mårten Nordström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match, Dan Wassenius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chano Iglesias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 78 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Asmundsson came free, but Chano Iglesias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chano Iglesias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Wassenius in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Piorno Acedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ReyPoxo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakcroft Thrashers the free kick. In the 80th match minute, ReyPoxo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piorno Acedo to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Ingvar Lagerberg in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ReyPoxo's Daniel Barral. Chano Iglesias came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakcroft Thrashers's Jonathan Svensson. But to his dismay, Jonathan Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oakcroft Thrashers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
