The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Paulo Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Despidida AFC's Donato Bero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Edelmiro Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Vianna in the 8th minute of play. Carolo Xabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but José Maria Teles made a huge save. Quandus's José Maria Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Quandus from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Quandus's Natanael Vianna got a free kick in the 12th minute. Donato Bero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised José Maria Teles 15 minutes into the match. José Maria Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Diagur went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Atila Eduardov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edelmiro Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Maria Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Maria Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Carolo Xabel made a precise shot to the right of José Maria Teles. Quandus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Carolo Xabel hit a great ball. Quandus's José Maria Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Quandus from getting a goal against them. José Maria Teles was a little too slow when Santiago Diagur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 6-0. Carolo Xabel scored 7-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Bero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marco Abella made a precise shot to the right of José Maria Teles. Quandus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Quandus's José Maria Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Diagur in the 54th minute of play. José Maria Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Quandus's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Abella came free, but José Maria Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Santiago Diagur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. José Maria Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Donato Bero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. José Maria Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Diagur went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Carolo Xabel took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Teles. José Maria Teles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. José Maria Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Bero in the 73rd minute of play. The referee gave Natanael Vianna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 79 played minutes Quandus got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Vianna. After some careless play in the Quandus defense, Marco Abella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Teles. The Quandus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Teles should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Donato Bero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Maria Teles. Quandus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Bero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. 86 minutes into the match, Quandus's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Xabel came free, but José Maria Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Diagur scored 16-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Maria Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Bero went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 17-0 was the resulting score. Edelmiro Haimar made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Duarte Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Despidida AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
