Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Adalberto Araube successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Mainumby's zone, Esteban José Botero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Gau came out of the goal and Esteban José Botero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s goalkeeper Adalberto Araube had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Erasto. When Esteban José Botero fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s protests and gave Esteban José Botero a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Francisco Dominic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adalberto Araube, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Erasto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adalberto Araube. The supporters of ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mainumby's Amadeo Olivar got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Adalberto Araube took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Omero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Adalberto Araube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Ilazki in the 60th minute of play. Santiago Gau didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Gerardo Oinatz put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adalberto Araube. Santiago Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Falleto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gau having to interfere. Mainumby's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
