After having played for 7 minutes, Joaquim Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feios Porcos E Maus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes, Victor Gelmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mainumby and the Feios Porcos E Maus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Victor Gelmiro. Marcelo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gau having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Feios Porcos E Maus's Santiago Gau threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Takis Parlapidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25th minute, Eusébio Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Gau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Santiago Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Parlapidis in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Mainumby booed when Feios Porcos E Maus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Telinhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Candido Suero fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Candido Suero a yellow card for diving instead. Feios Porcos E Maus made a substitution. Duarte Guarda replaced Takis Parlapidis. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Candido Suero hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Eusébio Moura could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Santiago Gau however easily saved by the left post. Santiago Gau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Moura in the 40th minute.

Mainumby made a substitution. Eusebio Fiz replaced Candido Suero. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feios Porcos E Maus's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
