Serbülent Baysan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A well placed Vitaliy Fedchenko short distance shot in the 93rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Martin Palermo F.C. had won after a very even match.
