The supporters of Matadores FC booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Răcănel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Saldanha scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolae Borcea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Pânzariu in the 7th minute of the match. André Luís Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nicolae Borcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Pânzariu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Paulo da Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eugen Pânzariu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Paulo da Silva made a huge save. Nicolae Borcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Tinoco in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionuț Moșneanu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Eugen Pânzariu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matadores FC's Paulo da Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luís Silva during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, André Luís Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goalkeeper Paulo da Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Pânzariu. Nicolae Borcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Saldanha in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flávio Tinoco to make the kick off. With a little luck, RED BLUE STAR's Nicolae Borcea got control of the ball when Faustão Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Matadores FC's Faustão Saldanha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolae Borcea was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Matadores FC booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matadores FC's Paulo da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Pânzariu in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Pânzariu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo da Silva saved Matadores FC from getting behind. Paulo da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Pânzariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Faustão Saldanha notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of RED BLUE STAR's Nicolae Borcea. Nicolae Borcea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matadores FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
