Sebastián Izquierdo started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Austra 04 VFC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Vidal. Marcus Pollard charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Pollard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcus Pollard kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Izquierdo came free, but Kitt Pegov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martín Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Pollard in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Martin Palermo F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubens Teles was slow to take the kick. During this time Austra 04 VFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Austra 04 VFC's corner Bebeto Baiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martín Izquierdo quite easily take care of the ball. If Marcus Pollard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 14 played minutes Austra 04 VFC got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Teles. In the 17th minute, Christian Izquierdo made a precise shot to the right of Kitt Pegov. Austra 04 VFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Kitt Pegov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Perrando in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Austra 04 VFC were awarded a corner. Rubens Teles went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 28th minute Sebastián Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kitt Pegov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Dario Cordarrol kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Austra 04 VFC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Batista. Benicio Izquierdo got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 40th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. In the 42nd minute Christian Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kitt Pegov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Marcus Pollard made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bebeto Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Isaac Perrando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kitt Pegov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Austra 04 VFC's Kitt Pegov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Izquierdo in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Austra 04 VFC's Mauro Garcia got a free kick in the 56th minute. Kitt Pegov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastián Izquierdo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Peyo to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes, Austra 04 VFC's Rubens Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martín Izquierdo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Austra 04 VFC reached it. After 63 played minutes Martin Palermo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dario Cordarrol. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Izquierdo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kitt Pegov saved Austra 04 VFC from getting behind. After 69 minutes, Evandro Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austra 04 VFC and the Martin Palermo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when Austra 04 VFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austra 04 VFC made a substitution. Nuno Severo replaced Mauro Garcia. Austra 04 VFC made a substitution. Rony Nunes replaced Kit Vire. During the 74th minute of the match Bebeto Baiano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bebeto Baiano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sebastián Izquierdo scored 3-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kitt Pegov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Rony Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martín Izquierdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Martin Palermo F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
