When Horace Vaughn came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Flames FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horace Vaughn couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Audaz FC booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrose Keen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Héctor Lario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Audaz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flames FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Audaz FC's Héctor Lario got a free kick in the 38th minute. Norbert Garland got the audiences attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 58th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Audaz FC's Lastra Lainez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrose Keen in the 64th minute of play. Norbert Garland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lastra Lainez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flames FC's Donald Kearns was substituted for Horace Vaughn. In the 72nd minute, Norbert Garland made a precise shot to the right of Lastra Lainez. In the 95th match minute, Audaz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Korkut Hacıbeyoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Lastra Lainez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Micheal Burnham. When the match was over Flames FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Audaz FC throughout the match.
