In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fivos Dadamis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fivos Dadamis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Muller in the 7th minute of play. Zacharias Andreadakis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Sánchez came free, but Fivos Dadamis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Green Hell F.C.'s Zacharias Kalkanis got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 17 minutes of play, GUSESI's Dieter Muller made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fivos Dadamis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fivos Dadamis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Hugo Sánchez put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Fivos Dadamis. When Zacharias Andreadakis fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Hell F.C.'s protests and gave Zacharias Andreadakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Green Hell F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacharias Andreadakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Apostolos Nalbantis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goalkeeper Santos Kiliz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apostolos Nalbantis. Zacharias Andreadakis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Iraitz came free, but Fivos Dadamis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GUSESI booed when Green Hell F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Vournas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fivos Dadamis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sakis Kefalas was the one to do the kick off. Hugo Sánchez hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Green Hell F.C.'s Fivos Dadamis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Green Hell F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dieter Muller in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fivos Dadamis saved Green Hell F.C. from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as GUSESI's Dieter Muller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fivos Dadamis. That made the score 0-6 after 68 minutes of play. 71 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Muller came free, but Fivos Dadamis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as GUSESI's Dieter Muller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fivos Dadamis. That made the score 0-7 after 77 minutes of play. A collision led to GUSESI getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Justino Astigar hit a great ball. Fivos Dadamis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Sánchez in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute of the match, Hugo Sánchez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fivos Dadamis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
