Devlet Ulağ's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Minea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 29 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Artaç Uluğ. After 31 minutes, Marian Drogoreanu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Nando Muslera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Devlet Ulağ lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Iordache Minea. Marian Drogoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Muslera having to interfere. Nando Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Drogoreanu in the 42nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Drogoreanu made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yunus Boztepe to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Basinski came free, but Iordache Minea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Devlet Ulağ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mihăiţă Voina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the YR☆ Rossoneri™ defense, Wiktor Basinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordache Minea. The YR☆ Rossoneri™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordache Minea should have stopped the shot. Iordache Minea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlet Ulağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artaç Uluğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Minea having to interfere. Dinu Bungescu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Costel Damian charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costel Damian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Costel Damian.
