In the 2nd minute, Dagoberto de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 4 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Penha came free, but Sabri Fouquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of TIMETER EC -DMZ- booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yann Segond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Saldanha lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of TIMETER EC -DMZ-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Pointe Courte:s goal. Jean-Pascal Hingant shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 18th minute, La Pointe Courte's Ahmed Grail dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jean-Michel Blandin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Timeteo Bolas came out and tried to block the shot, but Jean-Michel Blandin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Timeteo Bolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ricardo Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabri Fouquet. La Pointe Courte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ricardo Penha struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sabri Fouquet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIMETER EC -DMZ-. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmed Grail got free with Timeteo Bolas in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Nico Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal and Nico Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabri Fouquet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Ricardo Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sabri Fouquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Penha to make the kick off. Sabri Fouquet was a little too slow when Ricardo Penha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-2. Ricardo Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Sabri Fouquet made a huge save. In the 59th minute Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timeteo Bolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabri Fouquet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Penhas short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Sabri Fouquet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Timeteo Bolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Grail in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Thibaut Mazieres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timeteo Bolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Jean-Michel Blandin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timeteo Bolas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Nico Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Éric Di Meo's late challenge caught a TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Éric Di Meo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Éric Di Meo got a free kick in the 76th minute. When TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Dagoberto de Queiroz in 80 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sabri Fouquet guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Sabri Fouquet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Dagoberto de Queiroz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-4 to the left of a surprised Sabri Fouquet 85 minutes into the match. Nico Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sabri Fouquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to TIMETER EC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Abel Loureiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Grail in the 93rd minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Timeteo Bolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Ahmed Grail had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timeteo Bolas. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmed Grail was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
