Di Yuan Liang in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nando Muslera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sebastian Zieba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yunus Boztepe kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Di Yuan Liang made a precise shot to the right of Nando Muslera. The referee ignored VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's protests and gave Artaç Uluğ a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Artaç Uluğ. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Artaç Uluğ was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pombal 2003 F.C. booed when VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lu Guo Yue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nando Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Zieba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
