After 5 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Moraes. Marius Levința received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fabiano de Lima came out and tried to block the shot, but Marius Levința slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Vlashers's Marius Levința nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fabiano de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Hermínio Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Popete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Zieba in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Stelaru in the 27th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narcis Popete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Di Yuan Liang's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Sebastian Zieba put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Narcis Popete. 44 minutes into the game, Michel Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Narcis Popete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 48 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Di Yuan Liang. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Di Yuan Liang made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nechifor Cosor came free, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Zieba during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vlashers booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Zieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Levința in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Vlashers's Narcis Popete got control of the ball when Sebastian Zieba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vlashers's Narcis Popete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Moraes in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Leonard Stelaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vlashers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pombal 2003 F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vlashers's Leonard Stelaru got a free kick in the 74th minute. Narcis Popete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Yuan Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Nechifor Cosor put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Fabiano de Lima. In the 78th minute, Sebastian Zieba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pombal 2003 F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nechifor Cosor in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Levința in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fabiano de Lima saved Pombal 2003 F.C. from getting behind. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Levința in the 86th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Sebastian Zieba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narcis Popete. Narcis Popete yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. The Pombal 2003 F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pombal 2003 F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
