Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) Alfons Hurtig started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jorginho Munhoz's late challenge caught a FC Hamneskär's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Bertil Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vânderson Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Sandell in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Gustavo Martins got a free kick in the 12th minute. Pedro Luiz Simões was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, one of Lobo Guará:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lobo Guará. Vânderson Esteves had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Oswaldo Velasco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Hurtig in the 16th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Vânderson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lobo Guará's zone, Jerry Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Esteves came out of the goal and Jerry Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vânderson Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Carlos Alberto da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jorginho Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Falkrans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jorginho Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Hamneskär's Rickard Falkrans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lobo Guará in the 39th minute of play. Lobo Guará fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Falkrans having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Lobo Guará's Jorginho Munhoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rickard Falkrans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lobo Guará to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Hurtig in the 57th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Vânderson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lobo Guará's Vânderson Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Sandell in the 61st minute of play. If Carlos Alberto da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Lobo Guará sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Falkrans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Jorginho Munhoz made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Falkrans. FC Hamneskär's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 80 minutes of play, FC Hamneskär's Alfons Hurtig made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vânderson Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Alfons Hurtig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th play minute Jorginho Munhoz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rickard Falkrans. 1-3. 95 minutes into the match, Jorginho Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Falkrans. FC Hamneskär's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorginho Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The Lobo Guará supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lobo Guará would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
