When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Maurício de Lara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Perivaldo Moreira to make any attempt to save it. MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leandro Camargo 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 26th minute, Luiz Guilherme Arantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARINUS MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 28th minute, Geovani Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match, Leandro Camargo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Perivaldo Moreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of MARINUS MZC booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferreirinha Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Viana in the 59th minute of play. Délio Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pedrinho de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perivaldo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício de Lara in the 68th minute of the match. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Alfa FC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Maurício de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Perivaldo Moreira. MARINUS MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurício de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Perivaldo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Varela in the 82nd minute of the match. The MARINUS MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Moreira should have stopped the shot. Alfa FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
