After 4 minutes of play, Juventud Antoniana's Moises Shantala made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Cebo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Cordarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Cordarius came free, but Guaberto Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Moises Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Rigoberto Clemencin got a free kick in the 14th minute. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Shantala in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Quitilipi defense, Moises Shantala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Cebo. The Quitilipi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Cebo should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordarius in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Shantala came free, but Guaberto Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Marcelo Cordarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Cebo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Quitilipi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Shantala in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Cebo saved Quitilipi from getting behind. Juventud Antoniana were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Quitilipi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Ricart took the corner. Marcelo Cordarius made a great header on Juventud Antoniana's corner, it was just that Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo managed to reach the ball for a save. 36 minutes into the game, Juventud Antoniana's Mauro Fernado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Cebo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Shantala in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Cebo saved Quitilipi from getting behind. After the first half Juventud Antoniana were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Shantala to strike the kick off in the second half. Moises Shantala scored 0-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Cebo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaberto Cebo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Moises Shantala sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Cebo was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Moises Shantala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moises Shantala really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordarius in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quitilipi's zone, Moises Shantala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Cebo came out of the goal and Moises Shantala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaberto Cebo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Moises Shantala sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Marcelo Cordarius fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Guaberto Cebo, passed just outside the right post. If Marcelo Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Cordarius was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Marcelo Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordarius in the 92nd minute of play. If Marcelo Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
