When Donato de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARINUS MZC's protests and gave Donato de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, MARINUS MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Perivaldo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by MDQ Raptors FC's Fabio Canor. But to his dismay, Fabio Canor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Souza came free, but Ruperto Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Berdaitz in the 28th minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Canor got free with Perivaldo Moreira in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Perivaldo Moreira made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Fabio Canor sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Higinio Tximitx kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Perivaldo Moreira. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. After 36 played minutes MDQ Raptors FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Bernal. After a rather tough play, MARINUS MZC's Délio Souza got a free kick in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Celso Berdaitz took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Perivaldo Moreira to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute Fabio Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MDQ Raptors FC booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Higinio Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDQ Raptors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Tximitx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Délio Souza was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in MARINUS MZC's zone, Daniel Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal and Daniel Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Perivaldo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Canor in the 53rd minute of play. Perivaldo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play, MDQ Raptors FC's Fabio Canor made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Moreira having to interfere. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Fabio Canor sped through MARINUS MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Perivaldo Moreira. 64 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Canor came free, but Perivaldo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perivaldo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Berdaitz in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Daniel Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARINUS MZC and the MDQ Raptors FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Munhoz. Perivaldo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Thiago Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Délio Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Fabio Canor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perivaldo Moreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some careless play in the MARINUS MZC defense, Higinio Tximitx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perivaldo Moreira. The MARINUS MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Moreira should have stopped the shot. If Daniel Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MDQ Raptors FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
