After a defensive mix-up in MARINUS MZC's zone, Thiago Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Arósio came out of the goal and Thiago Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thiago Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Schmidt. MARINUS MZC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Thiago Damião scored to the left of an out of position Evaristo Arósio, making the score, 1-0. In the 11thth minute of the game Thiago Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Thiago Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomás Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Ademar Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Damião. Evaristo Arósio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After 32 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Zonta. In the 33rd minute, Vítor de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Tomás Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Damião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Evaristo Arósio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 45 in the game by Thiago Damião from a close distance when the talented Evaristo Arósio managed to make a qualified save. MARINUS MZC's players were relieved. 46 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Albuquerque came free, but Sandrinho Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Thiago Damião dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evaristo Arósio, 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Damião to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Daniel Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARINUS MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Evaristo Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Damião came free, but Evaristo Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Damião in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in MARINUS MZC's zone, Tomás Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Arósio came out of the goal and Tomás Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Goiano in the 72nd minute of play. When AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARINUS MZC's goalie prevented a goal. Pedrinho Zonta's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Zonta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Pedrinho Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Thiago Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Tomás Schmidt got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Thiago Damião put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Evaristo Arósio. In the 90thth minute of the game Thiago Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Alex Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARINUS MZC and the AF CERRADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Damião went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that AF CERRADO were the better team. AF CERRADO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
