Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Damião in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AF CERRADO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clemente Cunha in the 7th minute. A nice corner shot did that Zé Roberto Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedrinho de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thiago Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho de Queirós having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Roberto Matos in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho de Queirós saved Alfa FC from getting behind. Pedrinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Damião in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Godoi. Zé Roberto Matos shot from long distance after 25 played minutes, a shot that Pedrinho de Queirós with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Alfa FC's Leandro Camargo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandrinho Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Thiago Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovani Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Sandrinho Sabóia made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Otávio Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Roberto Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho de Queirós having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício de Lara got free with Sandrinho Sabóia in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Maurício de Lara hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the game, Zé Roberto Matos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Godoi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alfa FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sandrinho Godoi hit a great ball. Pedrinho de Queirós was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Clemente Cunha. Renatinho Leal took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho de Queirós. Pedrinho de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With an all-out effort, AF CERRADO's Pedrinho de Queirós threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thiago Damião, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thiago Damião's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Pedrinho de Queirós skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Thiago Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho de Queirós was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Cunha got free with Pedrinho de Queirós in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Thiago Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Camargo in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Viana to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Damião came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ademar Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Pedrinho de Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedrinho de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Damião's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Thiago Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Cunha struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF CERRADO. A hard shot 95 in the game by Thiago Damião from a close distance when the talented Pedrinho de Queirós managed to make a qualified save. Alfa FC's players were relieved. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
