Martin Pânzaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Eliseu Melo managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when The Huns's Calistrat Vulcan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute Léo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Pânzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Inter de São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Charles Santos. The supporters of The Huns booed when Inter de São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Charles Santos made the kick off in the second half. When Charles Santos fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de São Paulo's protests and gave Charles Santos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Inter de São Paulo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Charles Santos hit a great ball. Eliseu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Perșa in the 62nd minute of the match. Martin Pânzaru made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Douglas Neiva sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hunor Bacsó during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Inter de São Paulo booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hunor Bacsó didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hunor Bacsó hit a great ball. Eliseu Galvão struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Martin Pânzaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de São Paulo. Inter de São Paulo's Jonathan Carvalho was substituted for Nelsinho Marques. In the 80th minute, Celsinho Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Charles Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Pânzaru. That made the score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. Inter de São Paulo were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after The Huns's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charles Santos took the corner. When the final whistle sounded Inter de São Paulo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Huns.
