In the 15th minute Mauro Abellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Mauro Abellaneda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Doni Meirelles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s zone, Derwin Abendano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Meirelles came out of the goal and Derwin Abendano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raúl Arósio in the 23rd minute. Raúl Arósio made a great header on ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s corner, it was just that Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25th match minute, Tiki Taka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nastasio Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. In the 30thth minute of the game Hernani Massa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derwin Abendano got free with Doni Meirelles in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doni Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Abellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Mauro Abellaneda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Meirelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The attack was good, but when Derwin Abendano in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Vítor Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Derwin Abendano made a kick off. Mauro Abellaneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Mauro Abellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Meirelles having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Raúl Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ and the Tiki Taka FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doni Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derwin Abendano in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Tiki Taka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eguzki Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gonçalo Siqueira hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Mauro Abellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nastasio Abeitia in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eguzki Abeijon in the 85th minute of play forced ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Doni Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Abellaneda came free, but Doni Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
