In the 19th match minute, Ágyúsok FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Károly Fazekas to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Ágyúsok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Odilon came free, but Mihály Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Miguel Arixo made a precise shot to the right of Mihály Horváth. Ágyúsok FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 37 minutes into the game, Gavino Odilon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mihály Horváth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Epifanio Innocenzio charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epifanio Innocenzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Epifanio Innocenzio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The Ágyúsok FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gimnasia y tiro were winning 1-3.

Tibor Moravecz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Ubendu having to interfere. Mihály Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Mingo in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Ágyúsok FC got a freekick which was hit by Zénó Szűrös. A collision led to Ágyúsok FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gábor Benczur hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazár Lorberg in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Ubendu saved Gimnasia y tiro from getting behind. The supporters of Ágyúsok FC booed when Gimnasia y tiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Ágyúsok FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zénó Szűrös to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gavino Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia y tiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Odilon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihály Horváth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gimnasia y tiro's Hilario Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazár Lorberg in the 84th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Bernardo Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gimnasia y tiro played a much better game than Ágyúsok FC and deserved their victory. The Ágyúsok FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
