After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Geovani do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abutres 2003 FDP's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shannon Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinho Pernambucano charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Pernambucano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Claudinho Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Cristóvão de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Shannon Marquez. Charlotte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Abutres 2003 FDP booed when Charlotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zackary Urmanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Cristóvão de Salles made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shannon Marquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caio da Costa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Shannon Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão de Salles in the 78th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
