After 14 played minutes, Santa Fe's Roque Roso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nemesio Handi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santa Fe reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Vende Humo's goalkeeper Nemesio Handi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Roso. After a rather tough play, Vende Humo's Carmelo Quirze got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 27 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Roque Roso. 32 minutes in the game, Toro Murillo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nemesio Handi having to interfere. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when Vende Humo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vende Humo's zone, Roque Roso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Handi came out of the goal and Roque Roso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shao Jing Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Saturnin in the 37th minute of the match. Vende Humo's Nemesio Handi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Vende Humo from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Narciso Jacob got a free kick in the 40th minute. Shao Jing Yuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Saturnin in the 43rd minute of the match. Shao Jing Yuan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benito Saturnin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. Tomas Semeno in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
