The audience was convinced that Benito Naldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Handi was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Saturnin in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Benito Naldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 21st minute Benito Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Saturnin in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Vende Humo's Benito Saturnin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Naldo to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Benito Naldo took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Nemesio Handi to make any attempt to save it. When Benito Saturnin came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Vende Humo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Saturnin couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vende Humo's Nemesio Handi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Vende Humo from getting a goal against them. Severiano Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Saturnin in the 68th minute of play. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Saturnin in the 72nd minute of play. Sebastián Boselli's late challenge caught a Vende Humo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastián Boselli helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vende Humo booed when Madison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 90thth minute of the game Benito Saturnin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Madison's Severiano Rafe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Semeno came free, but Severiano Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Uzuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Nemesio Handi made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
